Wow is all we could say when we arrived even though we had just saw a small part of the park. Before we explored the entire park we chose a spot near the entrance to the park. It was a self pay station so we chose our spot and paid the $9.00 fee. The site has electric and water and regular fee is $18.00 so we pay half with our senior national park pass.
the spot was huge with more than enough room for the RV, toad, and our dolly.
After we finished setting up we explored the park.
We found many sites on the water. Some had electric but no water hook up.
The park offers many walking paths that are designated by these wooden markers. The paths are mowed and clean of debris.
Several camping loops have playground areas.
This is the beach and swim area
This park has an ATV trail !! Wish we had an ATV!
Here was the real treat - seeing these two deer
This is a campground that would take days or weeks to enjoy all the activities that are available here.
If you ever feel a campground may be too far off the beaten path, remember, sometimes it is good to go outside of your comfort zone.
We hope you enjoyed us sharing our day with you.
